PAR + ARUP @ FACADE INNOVATION CONFERENCE

This Fall, PAR along with engineering partner ARUP, will present Extreme Ocularity at the Chicago Facade + Innovation Conference in a Mies van der Rohe landmark. The presentation will feature our approach to designing a high performance facade for a zero carbon building in the challenging climate of Helsinki, Finland. Fernando Romero, Principal of FR-EE opens the conference with a keynote presentation.

PAR EXHIBITS IN TAIWAN

PAR’s finalist proposal for the Keelung Harbor Gateway Competition is up for exhibition in Taiwan alongside entries from NMDA, Asymptote, Mecanoo and ACDF. A BIG thanks to our project partners SES + RLA and our world class engineering team: Buro Happold, Moffat & Nichol and LandDesign.

PAR FINALIST FOR KEELUNG GATEWAY

PAR in a collaboration with SES, RLA and Buro Happold were awarded honorable mention in the  international competition for the Keelung Harbor Gateway in Keelung, Taiwan. A gateway to the nation, the 120,000 m2 project is comprised of a cruise terminal and 70m office tower. Congratulations to our competitors Asymptote, Mecanoo, ACDF and especially NMDA for their winning entry. A BIG thanks to our project partners SES + RLA and our engineering team: Buro Happold, Moffat & Nichol and LandDesign. Our friend Sam Lubell of Architects Newspaper covers the project.
